Nocturna Capital provides strategic grants to support early-stage crypto, GameFi, and Web3 infrastructure projects. The purpose of this policy is to outline the criteria, process, and responsibilities associated with applying for a grant through our platform.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for a Nocturna Capital grant, applicants must meet the following requirements:
Be an individual, team, or organization building within the blockchain, GameFi, or Web3 space.
Demonstrate a clear use case, technical roadmap, and potential ecosystem impact.
Have a publicly verifiable identity (pseudonymous founders are permitted but must be doxxed under NDA during evaluation).
Not be located in a jurisdiction under U.S. sanctions or local regulatory restrictions.
Grant Categories
Nocturna Capital currently accepts applications for grants in the following categories:
Protocol R&D – Layer 1/Layer 2 scaling, smart contract innovation, tooling
GameFi – Mechanics design, tokenomics systems, or community-driven economic loops
Infrastructure – Wallets, SDKs, node tools, privacy/security modules
Public Goods – Open-source dev tools, education, governance infrastructure
Application Process
Submit the Grant Form
Fill out the Grant Application Form in full. Incomplete forms will not be reviewed.Initial Review
Our team will evaluate submissions based on originality, relevance, technical feasibility, and ecosystem fit.Due Diligence
Shortlisted applicants may be contacted for additional materials (whitepaper, pitch deck, tokenomics model, GitHub repo).Decision & Disbursement
Approved applicants will receive a custom grant agreement. Funding may be distributed in milestones, stablecoins, or native assets.
Grant Terms & Expectations
All grants are non-dilutive and non-repayable.
Nocturna Capital reserves the right to terminate the grant at any time if recipients breach terms or misuse funds.
Grantees may be asked to provide progress updates and join monthly check-ins.
Any IP developed under the grant must be open-source or openly accessible, unless otherwise agreed.
